Tapping into her roots she has a poetic writing style with Americana, Folk and Christian songs. Her whole life she has been singing. In order to support her voice and grow further as an artist she found herself performing with the guitar and ultimately discovering herself as an artist. As a budding artist, her family has supported her growth, leading her to become a songwriting major at Middle Tennessee State University. And with a focus of Music Business she has found her passion for music being fulfilled more and more.
Currently she is performing in college showcases and local shows around Nashville, TN.
For her it is about her friends and family, “The thing about music is that it is a way to describe, to speak, and to feel in ways that normal means just can’t accomplish. Music is the bridge to the heart. It allows someone to truly process and understand the world around them. I have always leaned towards music and writing songs as a means of understanding myself and my emotions,” that bridge and supporting foundation of friends and family expands out to her most recent project; The Universal Medicine Project.
She is working on a collection of songs for healing and processing emotions. Not wanting to make an escape from them but instead immersing herself and you deep into the emotion that is felt through grief. She is writing songs that she wish she had during times of loss and confusion. Part of this inspiration comes from her involvement with The Wesley Foundation. She is actively involved with the worship team and has recently become a worship coordinator. They became her home away from home and biggest support group.
